What to do if Earthing (Indoors) Doesn't Seem to Be Working
I understand that if you are reading this you may be one of the few who haven't yet had the experience of Earthing that you were looking for. When reading others speak of their amazing results, I can feel the frustration. I want to know that there are things you can do to help your body accept this grounding and with it the benefits you are needing.
I have written this report for those individuals who feel that nothing really different is happening. If that is your experience, hopefully you will find some useful insights here. First of all, we hope you have watched The Earthing Movie and thus have a good grasp on what Earthing does for your body. After starting Earthing, most people say they feel better and sleep better, Sometimes it happens dramatically and rapidly. Reposition the Mat/Sheet: If you are using a grounding mat in bed, you may want to reposition it so that is is under the middle (heaviest) part of your body.
Dehydration: Many people don't drink enough water during the day. they are dehydrated. We have observed that people who are dehydrated may not experience the benefits of grounding as fully as those who drink an adequate amount of water.
Stress: The presence of acute and chronic stress calls for more time being grounded to offset the effect of stress on the body. Stress is a leading cause of sudden death, insomnia, depression, elevated blood pressure, and a weakened immune system. We have often encountered people who deal with intense stress in their lives. They become emotionally and physically drained. In many cases the ongoing stress exhausts the critical adrenal glands that makes stress hormones. The adrenals are linked to other glands and hormones in the body, as well as inflammatory responses. Imbalances and abnormalities arise, and feed on each other. People who are grounded more in their lives typically experience calming of the nervous system, improved circulation, and a reduction of chronic and burning pain. Take control of your Environment: Eliminate EMF Sources: This step is vitally important if you are not feeling better from Earthing and especially if you have been feeling worse since your started. Go into your room and consider each and everything that is electrical. All items connected to power will have a least some thrown A/C electrical charge and possibly a magnetic field when the current is flowing. Bedside lamps, alarm clocks, charging, stations, electric beds, TV's, streaming devices, ceiling fans, air conditioners, humidifiers, air purifiers, computers, laptops, printers, smart home devices, electric blankets, portable heaters, fans, gaming consoles, electric toothbrush charges, hair dryers, straighteners, electric shavers, nightlights, Wi-Fi router and extenders are all examples of EMF found in your bedroom. I strongly recommend you think seriously taking control of you bedroom space and eliminate as much of you can or distance yourself from any EMF as much as possible.
Regular System Checks: It does not hurt to regularly check your earthing system with the Earthing Conductivity Tester (Verifies that your earthing system is conductive)
Earthing is not a Panacea: Finally, some people express disappointment that Earthing has not helped them with a specific health concern. They had expected quick relief and dramatic improvement. They read many testimonials and perhaps heard about major benefits from friends or family . Yet, they haven't been helped noticeably or fast enough. In this situation, we remind people that while Earthing has so much to offer and benefits the body systemically, it is still not a panacea, a remedy for all diseases. It should never be regarded as such. People are all different, and affected by a variety of factors that can undermine health: genetic deficits, congenital problems, severe biochemical imbalances, pronounced immune dysfunctions, poor eating habits and nutritional deficiencies, lack of exercise, intense stress and environmental, chemical or food sensitivities. Grounding may not be able to influence or overcome a deep-seated factor, or just have a minimal effect. We wish that grounding was a cure-all. But its not.
