What is a Therapeutic Massage
A Therapeutic massage is a mobilisation of the soft tissues in order to induce relaxation. I use a combination of specific massage techniques to produce a therapeutic effect to reduce stress, decrease pain and increase feelings of calmness and well being. This type of massage consists of a range of movements performed with hands. More specifically, these movements include pressing, kneading and general manipulation of the muscles and soft tissue in the body.
A hot towel is used at the completion of your back massage to add extra soothing and comfort to the muscles. (A delight)
For people experiencing stress, anxiety or insomnia, this is a wonderful way to relax, relieving mental and physical tension. You will certainly feel a lot more relaxed when you leave than when you came in.
You will be welcomed into my Room to Heal where you will feel safe and supported. I will asked a series of questions to make sure you get the most benefit from your massage.
